While it may sound like a lot of walking, the distances between locations are short, making the journey manageable with plenty of stops along the way. On this 7-hour private tour of Athens, we’ll uncover the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, the Ancient Agora, and the charming neighborhoods of Plaka and Monastiraki. Our itinerary also takes us through the modern side of Athens, where we’ll visit Syntagma Square, the National Garden, the Zappeion Mansion, the Panathenaic Stadium, the Temple of Zeus, and Hadrian’s Arch. The tour begins with a visit to the Sacred Rock of the Acropolis. We’ll start at the South Slope, exploring the grand Theater of Dionysus, the Temple of Asclepius, and the impressive Roman Music Hall. Then, we’ll make our way to the majestic Temple of Athena Nike and the Propylaea, the monumental gateway to the Acropolis.
